Cabaret favorite Eddie Bruce and jazz piano giant Dean Schneider team up for this singular, Valentine’s Day performance, which will feature the the iconic .. and for the occasion, romantic compositions if three legendary composers: Henry Mancini, Johnny Mercer and Michel Legrand.

Bandleader, cabaret singer and broadcaster Eddie Bruce has been an entertainment industry force in our region and beyond for more than four decades. His orchestra has performed at virtually every major gala, corporate and charitable event in the area. As a cabaret singer, his critically acclaimed celebrations of Anthony Newley, Frank Sinatra, the best of Broadwauy and Tony Bennett have played before sellout houses at World Cafe Live, Suzanne Roberts Theatre, Prince Musicl Theatre, Mandell Theatre, Milton Theatre, Ambler Act ll Theatre, Metropolitan Room, Birdland Theatre, 54 Below, and of course, The RRazz Room.

Dean Schneider is one of the most sought-after pianists. arrangers and musical directors on the east coast. In his four-plus decade career, he has accompanied a plethora of international touring stars, including Placido Domingo, Bernadette Peters, Carol Channing, Lou Rawls, and Shirley Bassey. Dean also served, for some 26 years, as accompanist for the late great Diahann Carroll. The RRazz Room in San Fransco had the honor and priviledge of working with Ms.Carroll a few years ago.

Henry Mancini, Johnny Mercer and Michel Legrand are three giants who personified the American Popular Songbook. Henry Mancini won four Oscars and 20 Grammy Awards. His compositions include “Moon River”, “Days Of Wine And Roses”, “Dear Heart”, “Charade”, “Two For The Road”, “The Shadow Of Your Smile”, and “Evergreen”.

The famed Johnny Mercer, also a singer and record company executive, wrote the lyrics to dozens of popular standards, including “Autumn Leaves”, “Day In Day Out”, “Goody Goody”, “I Remember You”, “Skylark”, and also wrote the lyrics to Mancini’s “Moon River”.

Michel Legrand, who left us only two years ago, was a wonderful jazz pianist, as well as being an arranger, conductor an composer. His best known songs include “Eatch What Happens”, “The Summer Knows”, “I Will Wait For You”, “What Are You Doing The Rest Of Your Life”, and “How Do You Keep The Music Playing”.
