My Musical Comedy Life is a musical memoir about a young girl from the Midwest who has dreams about being a dancer in New York. Ms. McKechnie, who was recently inducted into The American Theatre Hall of Fame, takes us on a metaphorical walk through famous Shubert Alley as she shares behind the scenes stories about some of the great people she has worked with along with recreating numbers she has made memorable from some of Broadway’s most legendary shows like Promises-Promises, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Company, Sweet Charity, Follies and A Chorus Line.  She shares stories about the struggle and the ups and downs of a life in Theatre and brings us to a Finale with a hopeful reflection of a woman who still loves New York and still believes in Happy Endings.
