Comedy & A Couch: An Intimate Evening with JEN KOBER, Hosted by JENNIE McNULTY. Start off with Jennie & Jen’s spectaculat stand-up, then get down & dirty with Jen as they hilariously discuss life, politics and wherever else the conversations go!  Audience Q&A to follow.

Jennie McNulty is “One of the premiere comedians in the country” as proclaimed by The New England Blade.  The Examiner called her an, “infectiously energetic, remarkably deft comic with a warm disarming style and some of the best improv skills in the business.”  And Curve magazine rates her amongst the “Top 10 lesbian comics.”  Her playfully sarcastic style is sure to win you over and most definitely make you laugh.

Jennie’s comedy career has taken her all over the world, from entertaining troops in Iraq, Afghanistan and Eastern Europe to the beautiful beaches and serene sea ports of the LGBT travel world with “Olivia,” “Atlantis” and and other travel companies.

Jennie recently wrapped shooting on the upcoming feature film, “Freelancers Anonymous.” She’s also been seen in “Lights,” and on Logo TV’s “One Night Stand Up” two times.

In addition to headlining comedy clubs, colleges and events across the country, Jennie’s also headlined LGBT Events and Pride Festivals everywhere and spent 6 summer seasons performing nightly in Provincetown, MA.  She also produces comedy/variety shows in the Los Angeles area and was a regular host at the Improv at Harrah’s in Las Vegas.

Years of performance experience has also made McNulty a sought after comedy tutor.  From beginners to award winning stand ups, “The Joke Dr,” McNulty has helped countless comedians “find their own funny.”   And, in addition to individual coaching, Jennie also frequently runs stand up writing workshops in an online web conferencing format.

Jen Kober is originally from Lake Charles, LA, and has energetically bounded onto the national stage bringing crowds to their feet with her original blend of stand-up, story telling, and improvised rock-n-roll comedy.  Her hard-hitting hour is phenomenally funny as Kober commands the stage and dares you not to laugh. Jen was the 2017 Winner of NPR’s Snap Judgement Comedic Performance of the Year for her Girl Scout Cookie Caper  story which went viral upon its release earlier that year. Kober received the 2018 Comedic Performance of the Year for her latest story titled Nana Vs. OJ.

You can see Jen on Netflix in 2019 as she joins the cast of two of its newest original shows. Including RuPaul’s upcoming sitcom  AJ & The Queen.  Jen also has upcoming roles on The Righteous Gemstones  on HBO, The Purge  on USA Network, and Diary Of A Future President  on Disney+
